Meet Emily

Hey! I’m Emily, the artist and designer behind Emily Hill Design. Creativity has always been a big part of my life, and I’ve been creating since I could hold a pencil. What began with homemade cards for loved ones and childhood art classes grew into a lifelong passion for painting, illustration, and design.

I was raised in Athens, Alabama, and studied graphic design and advertising at the University of Alabama, graduating in 2016 before beginning my career in advertising as an art director. Over the last decade, alongside my career, what started as designing invitations and logos and painting for friends and family has continued to grow and evolve. My work brings together two things I’ve always loved: creating meaningful designs and bringing ideas to life through paint. Here, those two sides of my work come together through my Paper Goods and Original Art collections.

Every piece is an original design, created entirely by me and exclusively for Emily Hill Design. Inspired by color, texture, and the beauty found in everyday life, I strive to create work that feels personal, meaningful, and brings a little more beauty to the moments and spaces it becomes a part of.

Above all, I’m grateful to God for the gift of creativity and the opportunity to use it to bring joy to others through the work I create. Inspired by Colossians 3:23, I strive to approach my work wholeheartedly, with purpose, and for His glory.
